It’s a beautiful day in Atlanta as I prepare to attend NAMB trustee meetings. Last night I met with the search committee regarding the next president of this key organization. We are making progress but continue to seek God’s will and mind in this matter. The further we move in the process, the more the Holy Spirit impresses upon me the importance and seriousness of this matter. Your continued prayer is needed. Great days are ahead in Kingdom work.

Lately I have appreciated the time I have spent with the Lord in prayer.  Ministry needs and full schedules can cause prayer to become routine. It can become a habit to go to the Lord with a list of needs and move along with the day. God has reminded me He wants to spend that time with me, too. Be on guard in viewing prayer as a duty. Rest and enjoy being with the Lord. Your life will be changed.
