It was an honor two weeks ago to ordain five men as new deacons. Last night we had our first deacons meeting of the new year. In one of the first orders of business, we elected our officers for 2010. The following men will lead this ministry team throughout the year:

Chairman: Alton Roberts
Vice-Chairman: Crawford Odom
Secretary: Jeff Rogers
Treasurer: Warren Whitfield
2011 Chairman-elect: Danny Kepner

I am often asked the key to Olive’s success. My response is always the same. The key at Olive is a group of godly men who serve the church. These men are not only deacons but they serve in various areas of ministry at Olive. I am excited about the men God is raising up in servant leadership. There are great days ahead in the life our church.
