Thoughts for Today

Tuesday, September 29th, 2009

Last night I had the pleasure of speaking to the Sav-A-Life coalition in Andalusia, Alabama. This group does a great job of speaking for the unborn and ministering to mothers. Amy Davis serves as executive director of the organization. She is a graduate of the Baptist College of Florida. I am proud of her and the work she is doing. An army of volunteers worked in the event. I was so encouraged.

Early Wednesday morning I will be back at the Andrews Institute in Gulf Breeze. Over the weekend I developed a second retina tear in my left eye. This is same eye which has been giving me problems. This second surgery will be like the first one. I ask you to pray for me and for Dr. Myers. I will be down a few days.

Loving the cooler air in the Panhandle this morning. The forecast is for more of the same over the next few days. Fall is in the air.
