In Appreciation

It takes many people to make up the staff team at Olive. For the past nine years Sue Valentour has worked in our financial office. This is her last week with us. She and her husband Patton will be moving back to Birmingham in the next few days. We will miss her and the professionalism she brought to the table. Many of you may not know her as she did much of her work in a back office and behind the scenes. Thank you, Sue, for your marvelous service on the team and may God bless you as you walk into retirement.

Thanks for the positive response to the Grab A Shovel sermon I preached last Sunday. I have had more than the normal feedback. I am thinking that I may have a book by this title - we shall see.  The book, The Eight Callings of God, is progressing nicely. It should be ready for purchase in the fall.

I am excited by what I see happening on the grounds for the Ministry Village. First steps are being made. Thomas Edison said, “Vision without execution is hallucination.” I am glad to see execution!
